Trip to Washington

I went to Washington a week ago, and saw some cool things. When I got to my great aunts house I saw a golden eagle perched in a leafless tree. Golden eagles are huge. They're bigger than bald eagles. I also saw where Lewis and Clark camped on May 2, 1806. I had a great time but I'm glad to be home.

Lewis and Clark heritage site at Patit Creek, Washington.

Wow. I didn't realize that golden eagles are bigger than bald eagles. I must never have seen one.

I saw a bald eagle, having a snack, along I-5 on my way to Eugene once. That was a surprise!
